Why I Love It
Letting babies play with books is part of raising a reader. Board books are certainly durable if you’re concerned about ripped pages, but cardboard is no match for baby drool! Soft books are nice but bulky… enter Indesctrutibles! These little books are chew-proof, rip-proof, non-toxic and even 100% washable. We’ve had a handful over the years since my oldest was a baby (I first learned about them in a mommy-and-me class when he was just a few months old!) and they’ve held up so well. I love keeping one in the diaper bag because they’re so thin and lightweight. Perfect for pulling out to read while waiting at a doctor’s appointment or restaurant. This particular title counts familiar animals; I love the bold, graphic illustrations.
